Production

The technological process of cable and wire production is divided into five areas: melting, drawing, stranding, extruder and packaging. Copper rod is the main source material used in the production of cable and wire products. The company uses the method of continuous oxygen-free casting with the use of modern equipment of UPCAST (Finland).

MELTING SECTION

The UPCAST ​​line is designed for casting copper and copper alloy rods. Copper cathodes are fed to the melting furnace, where they are melted at high temperatures in an oxygen-free environment.

When leaving the crystallizer, copper rod of the required diameter is obtained for further processing in the production cycle.

ВОЛОЧИЛЬНЫЙ УЧАСТОК

The wire rod enters the drawing section. Drawing is the process of gradually reducing the diameter of the wire by passing it through the wire drawers (dies). Copper wire drawing is carried out on the lines of the company “NIEHOFF” (Germany). In the production of multi-core cable the most technological process is the process of simultaneous drawing of several cores at once on multiwire drawing machines. After the produced cores are delivered to the stranding section.

STRANDING SECTION

In this section copper and aluminum cores are twisted into a core.

The twisting takes place on special twisting machines.

EXTRUDER SECTION

Then the core goes to the extruder shop for PVC or polyethylene sheathing. The sheathing can be applied in two ways: with or without crimping. The sheath, which protects the cores from mechanical damage and provides fire resistance, is applied by extrusion, as in the case of insulation. PVC plasticates or polyethylene are used for sheathing in the production of cable products. Labeling of wires and cables is made by special printers, as a rule, simultaneously with the application of the sheath.

PACKAGING AREA

The process of winding, coiling and packaging takes place. Correct packaging allows preserving consumer properties during transportation (50% of the guarantee of safe delivery of products to the destination).

Also, proper packaging is convenient during installation work.
